Soar

Is it a pause in motion? or is it the desire to rise and soar?

BEGIN... AGAIN...

Ending brings new beginning, beginning leads to ending.
It seems like a process to end, it is actually a process to begin the begin.
And again.

REVEAL

Everything happened in life leaves a trace in life.
It might be the past, but it plays an important role in shaping the current and the future.

MEND

They are cracks
But they are also the openings for new lives.

LODGE

Egg, like lodge, is temporary.
The shell shatters,
New life
Wings open, with hope
Is ready to shine and break out from the temporary protective shelter.

RAISE

They raise their child.
They stand tall to protect the child,
They bend over to communicate with the child.
They give him what they have,
He absorbs what they give.
One day, they become will shorter and he will become taller.
He will break away from the shadows of his parents.

WANDER / RETRUN

The children wander, wearing clothes made by their mother.
The mother sews, hoping to see the children's return.

Hymn of the Traveller by Meng Jiao
(translated by Chris Pereira)

Threads adeptly brandished by a loving mother,
sewed into garments for a son so soon to depart.

Her sewing picks up pace as the date approaches,
worries of belated return echoing in her heart.

Who dare claim that the green grass
might somehow repay the sun for its warm hearth?

Note: warmth of the sun and green grass is a metaphor in traditional Chinese literature, to describe the love and care parents give to their children.
